Report by the MTCR Chair: ROK-UN Conference on Disarmament and Non-Proliferation Issues

The MTCR Chair, Director-General (DG) Ham Sang-wook, attended the 15th ROK-UN Conference on Disarmament and Non-proliferation Issues held in Jeju Island, Republic of Korea, on November 18th, 2016. Along with representatives from other export control regimes, DG HAM briefed participants on the objective, Partners, history, Guidelines and Technical Annex, institutional structure, and adherence policy of the MTCR. Participants had an active discussion on ways to raise efficiency of the current export control regimes.
